WHAT DEVICES WORK WITH AND ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE UGAR HEADUNIT?

HOW DO I UPLOAD DATA TO THE UGAR HEADUNIT?
The UGAR headunit comes with 16GB internal memory that is used for applications, map data and media. Media can be copied from external devices like USB flash drives and self powered HDDs to the internal memory.
DO I NEED INTERNET CONNECTION TO USE THE UGAR HEADUNIT AS A GPS DEVICE?
The navigation system that comes with the UGAR headunit works offline as the navigation engine is built-in the system but you need to download the offline GPS maps like Google map, Waze, Sygic or iGo.
CAN I STREAM TO AND FROM THE UGAR HEADUNIT?
Users can stream music to the UGAR headunit via Bluetooth or DLNA via WiFi.
CAN I CHANGE THE DEFAULT LANGUAGE IN THE UGAR HEADUNIT TO MY PREFERRED LANGUAGE CHOICE?
Yes, you may. Go to: Settings > Language & Input Method > Select Language, and choose your preferred language.
CAN I TETHER THE UGAR HEADUNIT TO MY PHONE FOR DATA?
Yes, as long as your phone supports Internet data tethering / WiFi hotspot.
WHAT ARE THE EXPANSION OPTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE UGAR HEADUNIT, SHOULD I DESIRE IT?
There are several software items and components that are not included in the base unit price but are available as add-on accessories:
-Reverse camera
-On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Devices
-Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
CAN USERS INSTALL THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS?
The applications which are installed in the UGAR headunits are all automotive-safe apps. They are specially curated to fulfill automotive standards to ensure the driver's safety. Should you choose to install applications from unknown sources, you would be doing so at your own risk.
HOW IS THE UNIT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET?
You can connect the UGAR headunit to the Internet by tethering it to a smart phone that supports internet tethering. Alternatively the UGAR headunit can connect to an access point (AP) from broadband dongle or MIFI (mobile WIFI) device.
WHY IS THERE NO CD/DVD MECHANISM?
We believe the market trend is heading towards non-mechanical car audio systems with playback via digital removable media (USB/SD/iPod) and the Internet (online storage). Also, non-mechanical systems are more reliable and robust due to lack of moving parts.
